Tuition Based Summer School Program Information

Judson ISD is offering secondary summer school courses. High School courses and Middle School courses (remediation only) will be offered and will be held at Judson High School.

Tuition Based Summer School

Registration

Registration is by choice slip and must be completed by the student's counselor. Late registrants will be accepted on a space available basis. Registration will be held at Judson High School.

Registration Date & Times

Wednesday, June 8, 2011

Middle School 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
High School 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Evening Registration 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Payment Information

NO DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN WILL BE OFFERED. Tuition must be paid at time of registration in the form of cash, money order or VISA/MasterCard. Checks will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given. No refunds will be given after the first day of classes. Please allow up to four weeks for the processing of refund checks.

Bus Transportation

Transportation is available for $125.00 per student enrolled in the Tuition Based summer school. Bus stops will be located at all JISD elementary schools.

SSI TAKS

Grades 5 & 8 Summer School Program

Judson ISD is also offering SSI summer school to help students in grades 5 and 8 prepare for the 3rd Reading/ Math TAKS exam. Middle School campuses will be Woodlake Hills MS and Kirby MS. Elementary campuses will be Converse ES and Spring Meadows ES.

3rd Grade Reading Program

Students will increase comprehension, vocabulary and fluency skills using ebook readers and technology interventions for a fun, innovative summer reading program.

8th Grade EOC Prep

JISD is offering an Algebra I and Biology I summer prep program for select 8th grade students in preparation for upcoming EOC assessments.

Food Service

Free lunch and breakfast will be provided by JISD food services.

Transportation

The district will provide transportation to and from each SSI summer school campus. See brochure for more details.
