Dr. Melinda Salinas

Dr. Melinda Salinas

President

Dr. Melinda Salinas was elected to the school board in May of 2015. She is a 1987 graduate of Judson High School and has lived in the district for over 40 years. Dr. Salinas received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2010. She has served as a principal, assistant principal, and teacher in Judson ISD. Dr. Salinas is currently an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Poteet ISD.

Renée Paschall

Renée A. Paschall

Vice President

Ms. Paschall was elected to the board May 2015, representing the Place 6 At Large community. A former educator, Ms. Paschall retired from JISD in 2013. She has been a resident of the district for more than 30 years, a three time elected Councilwoman from the City of Converse, and is married to the former board trustee, Johnny Harris.

José Macias

Mr. Macias was elected to the Judson Board of Trustees in 2010 and re-elected in 2013. He is honored to represent the constituency of district 4. Mr. Macias is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a graduate of San Antonio College and Our Lady of the Lake University. Professionally, Mr. Macias is a non-profit administrator, focused on resource development and fundraising.

Suzanne Kenoyer

Suzanne Kenoyer

Trustee

Ms. Kenoyer was elected to represent District 1 in May, 2017. She retired from JISD in 2013 after 23 years as a teacher and a curriculum specialist. She is a graduate of Texas State University and Houston Baptist University. Ms. Kenoyer has been a resident of Judson ISD for 26 years.

Trustee

Mr. LaFoille represents the constituents of District 2 and has served on the board since 2004. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and he and his wife have lived in Judson ISD for over 40 years. Mr. and Mrs. LaFoille are longtime volunteers at Park Village Elementary school.

Jennifer Rodriguez

Jennifer Rodríguez

Trustee

Ms. Rodríguez was elected to represent District 5 in May 2017. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and is finishing her master's degree at UTSA. She has worked in education for 16 years, first as a teacher and now in the field of teacher development and support. Ms. Rodríguez and her husband have lived in Judson ISD for ten years.

Dr. Carl Montoya

Dr. Carl A. Montoya

Superintendent of Schools

Dr. Montoya earned his doctorate from New Mexico State University and his master's degree from University of New Mexico. He served as Superintendent in Aransas Pass and Brownsville, Texas. Dr. Montoya brings with him over 40 years of experience in education.
