As a freshman, Ariel helped the Judson Track team win its first ever state title by running legs on the 4x100m relay that placed 3rd and our 4x200m relay that won state in 2014. Ariel is the rare track athlete that has the range of ability to win the 100m all the way up to the 800m, she can also hurdle and excel in the jumps.  Her best race on the track is the 400m where she ran a time of 56.00 seconds and has a great chance to win  the region this year. She has jumped a best of 40 feet 1.5 inches in the triple jump and 18 feet 3 inches in the long jump.

Most recently, Ariel came through at our district meet in a big way by winning the triple jump, placing  3rd in the long jump, winning the 100m, winning the 400m and helping our 4x400m relay team also win a district championship.
We are proud to announce that Ariel has accepted a full athletic scholarship to run track at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Leading the Rockets in scoring Shelby had 770 total points this season and averaged 21.3 a game. That alone would have been a great season, but he also led the team with 99 assists, 81 steals, and was 78% from the free throw line. Other notable stats were his 137 rebounds and 32.1% shooting from the 3 point line.
