Standing In The Gaps...Our Substitutes, Thank You

Being a substitute for a teacher or even a staff member can be a challenging job.  It calls for someone who is not easily flustered and one that can go with the flow and learn quickly.  Judson ISD wanted to recognize those who have this unique skill set who have been helping to fill in the gaps for the district when needed.  The event was hosted at Judson Early College Academy recently with Chief Human Resources Officer Marco Garcia, Superintendent Dr. Carl Montoya with special guest speaker Priscilla Camacho of the San Antonio Chamber's Education and Workforce division on hand to thank and congratulate those who have served.

A Big Thank YOU to all of the substitutes... But I want to express how truly Salinas Elementary is thankful for Mary Powell! She has been a blessing to the Salinas Family this past year and I personally want to thank you for all her hard work and standing in the Gap in our time of need. She never complains and is always ready to step right in and do for the campus, teachers, students, administration and parents. We love her, I love her! Salute'
