Introduction
ATrain is our learning management system, where employees can sign up for staff development and
view their staff development history.
Log On to ATrain
ATrain is available only within the distrist unless you log in through MyJISD, the district portal.

| Username: | Normally your district log on. |
| Password: | Your initial password is communicated to you at the beginning of the school year; you must update it in ATrain manually. If you change your password in ATrain, be sure to update the Single Sign On Manager. |
Setting Up Single Sign On in MyJISD
MyJISD can log you in automatically only if you set up your credentials in the Single Sign On Manager. Click here for more info.
- Log into ATrain normally once to confirm that you have a working Username and Password. Then, log out.
- Log into the MyJISD Portal – click on “Accounts” (top of screen) and select “Manage My App Logons”
- Enter your ATrain Credentials in the appropriate rows.
(DO NOT PUT CHECKS IN ANY BOXES) - Click “Update Information” and then “Home” (top of screen)
- Click on the ATrain icon – it should log you on.
Logging On in MyJISD
If you are already logged into the portal:
- Click on the "Applications" menu (top) and select "ATrain"
- The portal should automatically log you into ATrain
NOTE: If an application prompts you to log in, check related information in the Single Sign-on Manager.
Changing your Password in ATrain
- Click the Profile Menu and choose My Profile
- Click the Change Button next to the Password field
- Type your Old Password
- Type your New Password and then type it again to confirm
- Click the Change button
Locating a Class
- From the Courses Menu choose Search Courses
- Type in a keyword of the course’s name or category (Ex. you might search for “Outlook.”)
- To view all courses leave the search field blank
- Click the Search button
- A list of all matching courses will appear
Registering for a Class
- From the list of courses (see prior section), click Details for the class in which you would like to register
- On the details screen, click the Events Button
- (this is only available if there are classes scheduled in the future)
- Click Join for the class you would like to attend and OK to confirm
Canceling a Registration
If you wish to cancel your registration for a course you’ve registered for using ATrain, please contact Professional Development using the info below.
