What is all of this?
Below is a detailed diagram of your inbox. A way to familiarize yourself with everything in The Wire.
Inbox Look and Feel:

| Inbox - This will take you to your inbox. | |

How do I read a message/task?
To read a message or task simply click on the subject portion of the message or task from your Inbox and a window will appear with the message. Below you'll find the subject section highlighted, followed by the Read Message window. The Read Message window can be closed at anytime by clicking the in the upper right corner of the Read Window. Also, you can forward the message on to a Judson ISD employee by clicking the forward message icon in the Read Window.


How do I forward a message/task?
To forward a message from your Inbox or any opened message, simply click the
Forward Icon, and the following window will appear. Fill out the form and submit it, and you're done! When you start typing an email address in the TO field, you will notice the matching email addresses auto-populate for ease of use. Also, if there is an attachment with the original message you will see the option to forward the attachment appear under the subject field.

How do I know if a task is due?
To know when a task is due simply view your list of tasks in your Inbox and directly under the partial message of the item you'll see the date and time the message or task was sent followed by the Task Due section if it is a task. Below you'll find three types of messages you'll find. If a task is red, it's overdue!
Task Due At Future Date:

How do I mark a task as completed?
To mark a task as complete simply click on the blue checkmark icon and the task will be grayed out, thus marking it complete as shown in the example below.

Oops, I accidentally marked a task as completed, how do I change it back?
To change a task from complete back to incomplete, simply click the gray checkmark icon, thus marking it incomplete again as shown in the example below.

Where can I view my forwarded items?
To view your Forwarded Items, click on the My Reports link in the upper right corner of the application. A screen will load and you will find the section Forwarded Items. You will see the date and time that the message was forwarded, the subject of it and who it was sent to. You can click on the subject to view the entire message as you sent it. You also have the option to Filter Forwarded Messages from the drop down menu for ease of use.

What are my User Stats and how do they affect me?
Stats can be viewed by clicking on the My Reports link in the upper right corner of the application. The following screen will load with the Stats section at the top of the page.
Your user stats is a quick way for you to know how many messages and tasks you have, what percentage of them you've read, and if you have tasks, what percentage of them are read and/or complete. The grid is pretty simple to understand. Something of note... The district office is able to view stats on user messages and tasks as well, so this diagram helps you know what is reflected of you on the district level.
