Hello Beautiful People! 

This will be my 15th year teaching and I am excited to be working closely with the 8th grade ELAR teachers, as I will be the Reading Special Education Teacher. I graduated from Judson High School in 1997 and then attended the University of the Incarnate Word ( Go Cardinals!). I earned both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Associate in Business. I obtained my teaching certificate through Region 20 in 2005 and have happily been an educator in both Elementary and Middle school campuses. In 2017 I successful completed my requirements at the University of Phoenix (#WeRise) and acquired a Master in Business Marketing. 

Growing up in a Military Family, I had the privilege of visiting other countries. I was born in Germany but spent most of my life in San Antonio, Texas (#gospurs) . I have 2 children, multiple animals, and love to travel. 

As teacher I am passionate about education. I believe that not only a campus should be safe, but the enviornment in which all students are given the opportunity to learn on their level. My Philosophy of Education also includes creating a classroom that is free of judgment and discrimination. One in which a relationship of mutual respect is key.
