Welcome to English 2 with Mrs. JLo!

This is my 9th year teaching English at Judson High School.

I was a military brat, and went to several different schools before my family settled in San Antonio. I graduated from Robert G. Cole High School (on Fort Sam Houston...yes, where Shaq went to school) in 2008. I then attended the University of the Incarnate Word to earn a Bachelors of Arts in English and Secondary Education, which I completed in 2011. I student taught at Virginia A. Stacey (on Lackland Air Force Base), and then began my career at Judson High School in 2012. I've been a Rocket every since!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we welcomed our first baby in December 2019. We also have a pitbull/labrador mix named Merida, and a tuxedo cat named Merlin. My husband is a network engineer, so he's super smart with the computer stuff.
