Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  I am excited to start my third year at Metzger Middle School, Home of the Mustangs. 

I graduated from Winston Churchill in 1982, and then attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  I earned

a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, in 1987. I also specialized in Reading. 

Before returning home to San Antonio, I taught for 19 years in Sugar Land, Texas. I have also taught for Ingram ISD, Alief ISD, and Giddings ISD. 

As I begin my 31st year of teaching, I am looking forward to a successful year.
