What kind of teacher am I?
I will support and encourage you to succeed to your greatest potential.
I will be fair, kind and respectful.
My goal is for you to be successful.
Welcome, I am excited about starting this new year at Kitty Hawk Middle School. This is my 26th year as a Special Education Teacher and my 8th year teaching in Judson Independent School District. I will be teaching 6th grade math: Math Co-Teach and Math Resource, we will be on working on mastering the math skills needed to succeed in the core math class and in society. I am a proud graduate of Texas State University, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. My teaching cetifications are Special Education PK - 12th, and Math 4-8.
In addition to being teacher, I am also a Special Education Case Monitor for designated students. This means I may not only be teaching your child, but I will also assist in monitoring your child’s grades and performance as well as ensuring the appropriateness of his/her current individual education program (IEP).
I look forward to meeting my students and their family members. Working at Kitty Hawk is an honor, and it is a blessing to be surrounded by a wonderful group of professionals and students. If you have any questions regarding your child's IEP, academic progress and/or math assignment(s) I can be reached at mkeller@judosnisd.org.
