Roxanne Parker
Welcome students!
My name is Roxanne Parker and I teach 7th and 6th grade English, reading, and writing. This is my fourteenth year of teaching young minds and my fourth academic school year here at Metzger Middle School. I enjoy teaching, because I'm making a difference and becoming a part of my students' lives. In 2007, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas in San Antonio. In 2016, I graduated with honors and earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Differentiated Instruction from the American College of Education.
I am looking forward to helping my students become better readers and writers. I believe that by working together, this school year will be the most successful and productive for your child. It is my responsibility to provide the most positive and enriching lessons and activities based on the current curriculum and standards that suit every student's academic journey.
