Hello! My name is Amber Zapata, and I will be your child’s Kindergarten Teacher.  I graduated from CAL State Dominguez Hills and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish.

I believe in meeting students where they are and encouraging them to adopt a growth mindset. I hope to support my students in their academic and emotional growth through a classroom culture of high expectations and a high level of care. I look forward to getting to know all my students and families!
