This is my first year at Kitty Hawk MS.  Thank you students and staff for welcoming me to your Kitty Hawk community.  I am new to Texas.  I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York.  I taught for 18 years with the New York City Department of Education.  I graduated from John Dewey HS in Brooklyn, NY.  I received my B.A. in Political Science from Long Island University/Brooklyn Campus.  I began teaching in 2003 with the New York City Teaching Fellows Program.  I later received two Master’s degrees in Special Education and School Counseling from Brooklyn College.  I am looking forward to a great year at Kitty Hawk!
