Welcome to 3rd grade at Wortham Oaks! I am looking forward to an amazing year!

I am Kelly Carreon, your child's 3rd grade teacher.  Here is a little information about me! I started my teaching career by attending The University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned a bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary studies. After I graduated, my first teaching job was at Crestview Elementary where I taught for 15 years. The first 8 years, I was the art teacher. After teaching art, I taught 2nd grade for 4 years and 3rd grade for 3 years. It was an amazing experience to teach at Crestview, a Nationally Recognized Blue Ribbon School. Three years ago I helped open Wortham Oaks Elementary. I taught 2nd grade for 3 years. Now I'm back teaching 3rd grade! 

It is a blessing  to teach at Wortham Oaks Elementary, the Best School in the Universe!
