    Announcements

At 7:30 a.m., announcements will begin (except for the first day of school).  Please understand it is a requirement to have the US and Texas Pledge along with the moment of silence.  Students and staff must be SILENT and in attention during this time.

    Bullying

Bullying has no place in a safe school, and MPE is and will continue to be a safe school.  The law states that bullying may be considered on a one-time event if the event is pervasive or serious enough.

    Lunch

Students must wear a name tag as they enter the cafeteria.  Name tags must have full name and student number. Please check students daily before you proceed to the cafeteria to avoid having to send the student back to class or make another name tag.  STUDENT NAME TAGS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

All reports will be in electronic form.  In the same respect as progress reports, grades should be reported each week so that parents can see their child’s continued progress throughout the nine weeks in Parent Center.

    DRESS AND GROOMING

Dress and Grooming/Elementary A student’s appearance has much to do with the way the student feels about himself or herself. Appearance also affects the way in which other students respond to them and has a great deal to do with student success and the learning atmosphere of the school. Because of this, Judson ISD has established a standardized dress code for students in grades Pre-K through 5. ADMINISTRATORS HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE APPROPRIATENESS OF ATTIRE AND GROOMING EXPECTATIONS FOR THE SCHOOL SETTING. Tops: • Any shirt with a finished neckline. • T-shirts that are not deemed offensive. Bottoms: • Pants, slacks, jeans, capris, skirts, skorts, dresses and walking shorts (Capri pants are defined as those pants that start at the waistline with length extending to and between the calf and ankle). • Pants must fit at the waist and be properly hemmed or cuffed at or below the ankle, but not dragging the ground. • Walking shorts, skirts, dresses and skorts must be knee length or longer. • Leggings may be worn with an appropriate top that ends/fall no shorter than 3 inches above the knee. Note: Overalls, zip off pants, oversize clothing, exercise wear, and any other item the principal may deem inappropriate may not be worn.
