Mr. Maximiliano Juarez
is in his 5th year as Assistant Band Director at Kirby Middle School. His responsibilities include teaching the beginning brass classes, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and brass sectionals for the Honors Band. In his time at Kirby, the Falcon band has won a number of state-level recognitions.
Mr. Juarez graduated from Texas A&M University - Kingsville with a Bachelors of Music Education degree. He studied Trombone with Dr. Paul Hageman and Dr. Oscar Diaz, under his tutelage, performed with the award winning TAMUK Trombone Choir. Mr. Juarez also performed with the Pride of South Texas Javelina Marching Band and was Drum Major in 2017. He also performed with the TAMUK concert choir, TAMUK Concert Band, TAMUK University Band, and Jazz Band. Mr. Juarez was the winner of the 2015 Texas A&M University - KIngsville Wind Symphony student conducting competition.
He graduated from C.C. Winn High School,in Eagle Pass, Texas, His passion for teaching was inspired by Criselda Marroquin-Morrell and countless others.
Throughout his career, Mr. Juarez has had the opportunity to travel and perform in locations such as concerts in Valencia, Spain, and Washington D.C,, and throughout Texas.
Mr. Juarez is currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification at The University of Texas - San Antonio.
Mr. Juarez' professional affiliations include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfornia Fraternity of America, Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association and ATPE.
