Education: I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor concentration in Sociology from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from St. Mary's University. 

Certifications: I am a Certified Elementary School, Middle School and High School teacher with certifications in Social Studies Composite 4-8 and 8-12, Special Education EC-12, English as a Second Language EC-12, Generalist 4-8, and Generalist EC-6.

Background: I am an avid traveler, having visited 26 countries on 4 continents.  I lived in Germany for 4 years and did my Master's internship in Bangladesh working in the field of sustainable development.  

Interests: I have a passion for world cultures and geography and I want to share my experiences with students to develop well-rounded critical thinkers in today's globalized society.
