Hello! I am looking forward to having an amazing year at the JSTEM Academy.

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Marine Science, and a Bachelor of Biology. I received my Master of Education from Texas State University in 2013.

I worked as an educator for the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON) from 2008-2010 where I taught wetland conservation with kids in grades K-12. After I received my Master degree, I became a science teacher at the JSTEM Academy where I will be starting my 9th year of teaching.
