Hello, my name is Misty Ornelas and I taught elementary school for four years and middle school social studies for seven years before becoming a school counselor. I started my journey as a school counselor at Judson ISD in 2012. I have had the pleasure of working at Park Village Elmentary, Metzger Middle School, JCARE and JLA.  I found my home at Judson High School in 2017 as an academic counselor. I am trained in sand tray therapy and in Impact Therapy. I am fully committed to helping all students reach their academic, social and emotional potential.
