Adan De La Garza
Mr. de la Garza, known to many as Coach de la Garza, has served the Judson ISD community since 2013. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and coming from a family of educators, Mr. de la Garza knew, early on, that he wanted to help students realize success in and out of the classroom.
Mr. de la Garza was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology - Physical Education at Texas A & M University San Antonio and Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. Mr. de la Garza began his time with Judson ISD as a Physical Education teacher at Converse Elementary until he transitioned to Kirby Middle School, where he taught Science and coached boys' sports for 5 years. Mr. de la Garza was fortunate to have the opportunity to be the first school counselor at Escondido Elementary, one of Judson ISDs' newest elementary schools. Mr. de la Garza is proud to be a member of the Karen Wagner High School Counseling Team and support all of the Wagner students and families. GO T-BIRDS!
