This school year will be Ms. Luna's third year working as an assistant principal at Veterans Memorial High School. Previously, Ms. Luna worked as a Special Education Coordinator with JISD. She was given the opportunity to coordinate district programs like life skills, resource/inclusion and Special Education Curriculum. She and her family moved to San Antonio from Brownsville, Texas in 2013. Her passion for working with students began in 2002 when she worked as the Bilingual Education Secretary for BISD. She has worked as a Substitute Teacher, Teacher, Department Chair and District Coordinator. She is thrilled that our Patriot Family is growing and that we share the same vision to help students succeed.
