My name is Amanda Waddell and I am the new registered nurse for Masters Elementary. I have been a nurse for 13 years. I am a mom of one she is a junior in high school.  I started off as an LVN   in pediatrics, moved on to being an assistant director of nursing, then went back to nursing school and became an RN and began working in the hospital and became a travel nurse. I  was very blessed to have been able to travel the US taking care of patients and families. I wanted to break away from the 12-hour shifts and went back to my first love of nursing which was in pediatrics. 

 

This is my first year as a school nurse and I am very excited to be a part of the Masters team. I am passionate about nursing and hope to be a healing hand to all students and parents here at Masters Elementary.  I look forward to being with JISD and Masters Elementary for many years to come.  If you have any questions, you can email me, call or stop by my office.
