I am so excited about the 2021-2022 school year. I am also so happy to be a Candlewood Eagle!
This is my 26th year of teaching, all of which have been in Judson ISD. I spent 13 years at Elolf Elementary and the last 12 years at Masters Elementary. I graduated from Churchill High School in 1987. I attended Texas A & M University in College Station and received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I received my Master of Education in Teacher Leadership, as well as my Principal as Instructional Leader (PIL) certification, from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I am certified in both General Education and Special Education.
Over the years in JISD, I have taught Special Education, 4th grade, 3rd grade and RTI. It is my mission to help EVERY child reach their highest potential! As an Academic Coach, I will be collaborating, planning and supporting teachers so that we can provide the best education for EVERY child at Candlewood Elementary!
I am very passionate about my new role, and I am honored to be a part of this amazing school! I know this is going to be a fantastic and fun year, full of learning and full of success!
