Clinic

  • Judson ISD is a “No shots No school” district.  Student must have all required immunizations or exemption affidavit before starting school.

     

    Per District Policy, Students with any of the following symptoms must be excluded from school until student is free from symptoms:

    o    Temperature of 100.0 or higher.  Student must be fever free for 24 hrs without fever reducing medication before re-entry.

    o    Diarrhea.  Student must be symptom free for 24 hrs without anti-diarrheal medication before re-entry.

    o    Vomiting. If student is vomiting prior to coming to school, please allow the child to stay home.

    o    Undetermined rash over any part of the body accompanied by fever.

    o    Symptoms of Pink Eye (redness, drainage, crustiness).

    o    Intense itching with signs and symptoms of secondary infection

    o    Open, draining lesions or wounds must be covered before coming to school.

     

     Medications

    Students are not to have medications at school unless a Doctor’s order is on file in the clinic and meds are to be kept in the clinic unless otherwise stated by Doctor.  Students are not permitted to hand carry medications to the clinic, medications should only be brought in by the parent or guardian.
