I am elated to continue my fourth year as Academic Facilitator for Spring Meadows Elementary. I graduated from Trinity University with my Masters in Education- School Leadership in 2015 and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 in 2008. I have put the knowledge I gained from attending to use in my ten years with Judson ISD and eleven years in education.
In my eleven years, I have had the privilege to work with incredible students, families, and communities. I will continue serving my seventh year with Spring Meadows. This year will make four years as Academic Facilitator and three years as the TAG coach. I also served three years as a First grade teacher at Elolf Elementary and one year as a Second grade teacher for Uvalde CISD.
In my role at Spring Meadows I support teachers, students, families, and the community in academic growth and success. With this honor, I will continue to do as Mrs. Frizzle taught and ask questions, get messy, and make mistakes, because taking risks is the greatest way to learn and grow. I will continue to be passionate and joyful about what I do, who I help, and driving positive change. I will continue to listen and collaborate with students, teachers, parents, and people in the community. These strong relationships are our greatest effort in providing an exceptional education experience for all students.
Here at Spring Meadows Elementary, We REACH. TEACH. EMPOWER.
This year will be our best one yet!
