Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Linda Esparza

My name is Linda Esparza, and I am the library clerk at Wagner High School. I am very happy to be joining the Thunderbird family this year.  I graduated from Texas A & M in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in education and certifications in reading and self-contained (1-8).    I have been in education for eighteen years, with twelve of those years at Judson ISD.  I have been a teacher for seventeen of those years, and I have taught first grade, fourth grade reading and RTI.  Last year was my first year working in the library at the elementary level.

Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are spending time with my family, gardening and watching my son play college soccer for TLU.  Go Bulldogs!  His team won the SCAC championship this past year, and I couldn’t be prouder.   I have been married to my wonderful husband, Victor, for twenty-nine years, and we have two beautiful grown children, Victoria and Jared.

I’m looking forward to working with all our Wagner High School students to help each of them maximize their library experience.
