Mrs. Pamela Thompson

Mrs. Thompson has been the librarian of Veterans Memorial since its inaugural year in 2016, and in October of 2018, Mrs. Thompson accepted the position of Lead Librarian for JISD Library Services. Prior to coming to VMHS, Mrs. Thompson was the librarian at Dellview Elementary in NEISD for 9 years. She began her career as a high school teacher at Highlands High School in SAISD for 9 years. She taught all levels of English as well as a reading program for students reading below grade level, Xtreme Reading, offered through a grant by the University of Kansas. 

Mrs. Thompson graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Geography. After receiving her degree, she returned to SWT to earn her Secondary Teaching Certification, and in the Spring of 1998, she completed student teaching at Judson High School. She earned her Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of North Texas.

Mrs. Janette Constantino

Mrs. Constantino has worked at VMHS for two years.  She started as a substitute teacher in 2017; in the Fall of 2018 she accepted the library clerk position.  Prior to joining JISD, she taught 8th grade English in the South San ISD.  Before joining the education field, Mrs. Constantino retired from photography after over 30 years in the field as a freelance photojournalist. She is a veteran of the US Air Force and earned multiple awards from the Air Mobility Command for her work as photojournalist, writer and editor.   

 Mrs. Constantino received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Emporia State University in Kansas in 1997. She earned an Associates of Science in Digital Media from the Art Institute in 2014. She currently teaches beginner photography for the NEISD community education program.
