Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Raquel Lott, and I am proud to be a 2nd-grade teacher at Candlewood Elementary. I am from San Antonio, Texas. I received a bachelor’s degree in education from Texas A&M University San Antonio and I am certified to teach early childhood through 6th grade. This year will be my fourth year of teaching, as well as my fourth year at Candlewood Elementary. I have been teaching 2nd grade all four years. I have a passion for working with children and seeing them grow. I strive to create a positive and fun environment in my classroom for all learners. 

I am looking forward to another great school year!
