I have been the At-Risk Social Worker for Kirby Middle School since 2013.
I am also a licensed social worker in the state of Texas for the past 25 years.

I am here to help parents and students with resources to overcome barriers at school.

What is a School Social Worker?

School social workers are licensed professionals who provide a variety of services to students, families, schools, and the community.  Working closely with the counselor, and other school staff, school social workers intervene to identify and eliminate barriers to students’ academic achievement and their healthy social-emotional development.
