Covid -19 Protections for Renters in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO (May 6, 2020) – The City of San Antonio and Bexar County jointly issued a message to landlords citing protections for area tenants during the COVID-19 crisis. The joint letter advised landlords that harassment of tenants is never acceptable and there are new protections that everyone should be aware of.

Rental/Mortgage Assistance
The City of San Antonio is accepting applications for emergency rent and mortgage assistance for individuals or families who live within the San Antonio city limits. San Antonio residents experiencing an emergency and hardship, please submit your request for assistance:
An online request does not guarantee financial assistance will be provided. Please do not submit more than one request for assistance. We will respond to you via email so be sure to check your email accounts often.
