Prioritizing Student Needs

  • Whether enrolled in face-to-face or remote instruction, the needs of all students will continue to be a priority.  Students who receive targeted support, specialized instruction, or specific services will continue to receive quality instructional supports. 

    Special Education Needs Students Special Education

    • Encourage to select In-Person model
    • Consider blending PPCD with Pre-K (SPED) program
    • Co-Teach for both in-person and virtual settings will occur

    RTI

    • Co-teach for in-person
    • Targeted small group instruction for virtual models (asynchronous schedule)

    Dyslexia

    • Targeted small group instruction for virtual models (asynchronous schedule)

    Gifted & Talented

    • Targeted small group instruction for virtual models (asynchronous or co-teach)

    Bilingual/Dual Language

    • Spanish Immersion- same teacher facilitating in-person/virtual learning simultaneously
