Hello! 

I am Diana Gonzalez, the 6th Grade/At-Risk Counselor for Kirby Middle School this year!  I will be starting my 18^th year as a school counselor and my 14^th year at Judson ISD. 

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University. 

Prior to becoming a school counselor, I began my career at Our Lady of the Lake University in the Enrollment Management area.  It was during this time, as I was  working with first-generation families, I began to see my passion for working with students preparing for their post-secondary plans.  Becoming a school counselor, I am able to work with students and their families to accomplish their career-path goals.  I look forward to working with our students and their families in middle school as it is a transitional time in their lives.
