Hello and Welcome Wolves!

     I am beyond excited about beginning my third year at Rolling Meadows Elementary! This year, I will be joining the 5th grade team. I take tremendous pride in continuing to serve the JISD community as this is where I attended elementary, middle, and high school.

     Most recently, I taught in the co-teaching setting with the fourth grade team here at RME. Prior to returning to my beloved hometown to be closer to family, I had the opportunity to teach in the elementary grades in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 

     I will forever be grateful for the personal and professional growth that I experienced during my time spent in the Northeast. After more years than I’d dare to admit of balancing life and college, I was the first in my family to graduate and even went on to complete my graduate studies at The College of New Jersey in 2019. This is also where I met the love of my life, Kyle Thompson. We plan to marry in Mexico this upcoming summer. As a future pilot wife, I anticipate a life of travel during summer breaks.

     When I am not with the Wolfpack, I love soaking up life with family and friends. I’m all about checking out craft food and live music. When time allows, I enjoy a hobby from my early adolescent years; good old-fashioned roller skating. These days, I go with Layla, who is entering 2nd grade this year and who I’m grooming to take up the passion as well. 

     I love being a teacher. This is my passion and my dream job! I look forward to embarking on a new year full of challenge, adventure, and LEARNING.
