Who we are and what we do

We are excited to bring you a bigger and better book club this year. We will be joining the other high schools in reading the same books and combining our meetings through Zoom or Skype. One of our selections, Reverie by Ryan La Sala, will come from our new digital resource for books, Sora, and will only be available digitally.

VMHS has been fortunate to have a book club for the past 4 years. We are a small eclectic group of students who LOVE to read. We typically read 3 or 4 books a year and sit around to snack, laugh, and talk about what we read. We will meet once a month to either discuss a single book that we have all read or to share our latest reads with each other.

The expectations of the group are that you read the book (or at least half of it to join in the conversation), listen, think, and respect yourself and the other members.
