Hey Falcon Family!!

My name is Coach Jaime Gonzalez.  I'm so excited about the 2022-2023 school year.  Here is a little bit about me:

I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and am a graduate of the J.W. Nixon High School Class of 1999.  After graduation, I joined the United States Marine Corps. I proudly served from August 1999 to August 2003.

After returning from the Marine Corps, I found my calling in teaching and began my studies to be a teacher.  I started at Laredo Community College and graduated from Texas A&M International University in May 2008.  I started my teaching career as a teacher assistant in 2006.    I began my professional teaching career at Lamar Middle School in Laredo, Texas in August 2013.

After many years (and a lot of consideration), I made the move to San Antonio.  I began my teaching and coaching career at Kirby Middle School during the 2021-2022 school year.  I am currently the 6th grade Health teacher and I coach 7th & 8th grade football, soccer, and track.

I am hoping to make this the best school year yet.
