Hello! My name is Daniela Freeman and I am the 1st Grade Spanish Immersion teacher at Wortham Oaks. I was born and raised here in San Antonio and I love living in this wonderful city that is so full of diversity, culture and history. In May of 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of the Incarnate Word. In May 2007, I graduated from UIW for the 2nd time with a Master’s Degree in Diversity Studies. I love teaching and have been a bilingual teacher for 15 years. Throughout my teaching career I have taught Pre-K, Kinder and 1st grade. I have been at Wortham Oaks since 2018 and I am so happy to be a part of the Wortham Oaks community.  I’m looking forward to a fun and exciting school year!  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

¡Hola! Me llamo Daniela Freeman y soy la maestra de inmersión de español de 1er grado. Nací y crecí aquí en San Antonio y me encanta vivir en esta maravillosa ciudad que está llena de diversidad, cultura e historia. En mayo 2005, gradué con mi Licenciatura en Humanidades de Educación de la Universidad de Incarnate Word. En mayo 2007, gradué de UIW por segunda vez con mi Maestría de Estudios de Diversidad.  Me encanta ser maestra y tengo 15 años de ser maestra bilingüe. A lo largo de mi carrera docente he enseñado Pre-K, Kinder y 1er grado. He estado en Wortham Oaks desde 2018 y estoy muy feliz de ser parte de la comunidad de Wortham Oaks. ¡Espero tener un año escolar muy divertido y emocionante!
