Gabriel Gallegos is a graduate of Texas A&M University Kingsville, where he received his bachelors in Music Education with Teacher Certification and a Masters of Music in Percussion Performance. 

As a Percussionist, Mr Gallegos has performed with premiere ensembles, such as the Wind Symphony, Kingsville Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Big Bands, and even the Pit Orchestra (Percussion, Timpani, Drumset). Currently, Mr. Gallegos performs with the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra and San Antonio Community Wind Ensemble.

As an educator, Mr Gallegos has worked as a graduate teaching assistant, percussion technician and consultant for different band programs, assisting with the instruction of their marching percussion sections.

As Percussion Director of Veterans Memorial High School, Mr Gallegos oversees the Patriot Drumline, Marching Percussion ensemble, Varsity Indoor Drumline, Jazz Drumset/Bass Guitar, and Concert Percussion. Mr Gallegos also helps lead the jazz big band, and helps instruct jazz musicians in the program.

Mr Gallegos currently holds membership in TMEA, PAS, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
