I was born in San Diego, California and moved to Minnesota when I was 15 years old.  I moved to Texas in 1978 to continue playing baseball at Texas Lutheran in Seguin.

After graduating from college, I went to work in Schulenburg, Texas coaching football, basketball, baseball and track.  After 3 years at Schulenburg, we moved to Georgetown, Texas coaching football and baseball for 4 years.  After Georgetown we moved to Beaumont, Texas to take a new job at Hardin Jefferson were we stayed for 4 years.  Then in 1992 I came to Judson.

This is my forty-second year in education.  I was at Judson from 1992 to 2011 as the head baseball coach and assistant football coach.  I returned to Judson to coach football and baseball in January 2022.
