Hello, my name is Erin Santiago.  Family means everything to me.  I am a proud mother to a 23 year-old son, and a Dog Mom, too.  I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Toro Family.  My passion is teaching.  I am your child's First Grade Teacher this year.  In my 18 years of teaching, I have taught Kinder, 1st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th grades.  I have also been a 3^rd grade Master Teacher, Dyslexia Teacher, and an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.  I am a proud graduate of Judson High School, so JISD is my home!   I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Education Degree. My certifications include:  Generalist EC-4, Special Education, and ESL. I have a deep appreciation of learning.  I am especially grateful to be able to help students grow and become the best learners they can be.
