I am Mrs. Sue Carter.   I have been teaching for a total of 34+ years!!   I have been at Woodlake Elementary for 26 years.  While at Woodlake, I  have taught second, first and kinder.  I have enjoyed teaching kinder for over 14 years.  

Missouri is my home state, where I graduated from college in Joplin in 1979.  Our family has been to Kansas, Korea and then Texas.  

My husband's name is Tom and we have three children.  Chris is 39, Kati is 30 and Eric is 31.  I became a grandma "Lovey" in February.  The little blessing's name is Maverick Avery, or Mav!  He warms my heart every day!

Kindergarten is such a crucial time for learning many new ideas.  Your child will become an avid author and a joyful reader!  To me, there is no better grade to teach than kinder!   As a parent, you will be very amazed at how your child develops as a student and what he/she learns.  Parent involvement is very beneficial for the success of your child.  I look forward to working with your family and your child!  Working together, we will help your child to be very successful!
