The Judson Rockets Girl's Swimming and Diving team is beginning the new year with some new awards to place in the trophy case.  The official 2009-2010 All-America Teams were released in July by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (N.I.S.C.A.) and the Rockets placed four individuals on the list.  With no graduates in the group, all four are returning this season to lead the Rockets to another successful year.

The top 130 athletes in each event in the country are recognized as All-American.  Senior Danielle Spradlin, who last year became the first swimmer in Judson High School history to earn All-American status, leads the group by being recognized in 3 events (200 Individual Medley, 100 Breaststroke, 400 Freestyle Relay).  Seniors Holly Moon and McKenzie Calkins, and Junior Maya Owens were also recognized in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
