Social Studies

Social Studies focuses on exploring the world in which we live through historical inquiry and research. In addition, students focus on discovering solutions to past and present problems that have plagued the world. As a team, teachers within JISD develop rigorous and meaningful lessons in which each student is challenged to understand, demonstrate, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the concepts before them while encompassing multiple sources of information.

The Social Studies Coordinators assist the Judson ISD teachers by providing:
