Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct

We believe that students can make responsible decisions regarding their behavior when they understand the rules and the consequences of violating them.  We ask students to please carefully read this Handbook, especially Section III, which sets out the Student Code of Conduct, and request all students to listen attentively and actively participate during class discussion/presentations on this topic at school.  If students are in need of assistance, they should ask for help before a problem arises.

The support of parents is critical to success at school; therefore, we request all parents to read the Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct, and to counsel with their children about its importance.  By working together, we can keep our energy focused upon our primary goal: student success.

If there are any questions regarding information in this Handbook, parents may contact the school or the District at (210) 945-5100.

Student Information Release

Directory Information will be released to anyone who follows proper procedures to request it unless the student's parent or guardian objects to the release of Directory Information in writing.

The Judson ISD Board of Trustees has designated the following information as Directory Information: the student's name, address, telephone listing, electronic mail address, photograph, date and place of birth, dates of attendance, grade level, enrollment status, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, honors and awards received, and the most recent educational agency or institution attended.

A parent is allowed to record their objection to the release of all directory information in one or more specific categories of directory of information including outside news media requests.

If you wish to change the options you had selected at the beginning of the school year, print the Student Information Release Form (also found on at the back of the Student Handbook) and return it to the school's office.
