Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)

SEPAC Mission

Our mission is to facilitate communication between students, parents, community members, and administrators, for the purpose of improving the quality of the district-wide special education policies, programs, and practices. The JISD SEPAC offers the opportunity to raise questions, to voice your concerns, and to provide direct input to administrators in an effort to ensure the delivery of appropriate services to students with disabilities.

We Invite All:

  • Parents
  • Educators
  • Students
  • District Leaders
  • Community Members

Why Become a SEPAC Member?

We believe that a parent-led council made up of district stakeholders that can collaborate effectively and efficiently will:

  • Help improve educational outcomes and well-being for all students, including those with disabilities.
  • Help identify concerns and encourage appropriate interventions,
  • Help shape the development of programs, services, and policies, as well as improve district and community culture.
  • Provide resources to aid families along their journey.

Meetings are held monthly at 6:00pm. Use the QR code to attend a meeting.
