GED Registration Information

How do I register?

With the MyGED™ online portal examinees are able to sign up, study, schedule exams, check scores, and learn about jobs and colleges.

Simply sign up for MyGED™ at www.GED.com and you will get information regarding local policies, how to request Accommodations as well as scheduling.

Fees:

You can pay as you go with the GED® test. This means you can pay for each subject individually or when you are ready to test. In Texas the fee is $33.75 per subject or $135.00 for the entire exam series (4-parts).

What is a passing score?

The GED® test will have a passing score of 150 on each test part. Therefore, you will need to reach a score of at least 150 on each part and a total score of 600 across the four-part battery in order to receive your GED® test credential. You may also earn an “Honors” score if you receive a score of 170 on a test part. Learn more about the honors score.

  • Below Passing: 100 – 149
  • Passing Score: 150 – 169
  • Honors Passing Score: 170 – 200
