    To meet the needs of our growing community and continue to provide quality instruction to our students in a safe and secure environment, the Judson Independent School District developed a staggered process for registration for the 2023-2024 school year.

    Although the registration process is staggered, the district continues to provide options for our community by continuing the School of Choice option, which allows Judson ISD families to choose any school within the district to attend regardless of attendance zone, and the Out of District option for families living outside the Judson ISD boundaries that wish to attend one of our schools.

    Pre-Kindergarten

    Judson ISD offers PreK3 as a half-day program for eligible PreK3 students who live within the Judson ISD attendance zones. Judson ISD will continue to offer full-day programming for eligible PreK4 students.

    School of Choice

    Judson ISD proudly offers our students the School of Choice option, which will allow families to choose any school within the district to attend, regardless of where they reside in the district. For families that are currently attending a School of Choice, the current assignment will remain for the 2023-2024 school year.

    Current School of Choice students will be able to automatically register at the school that they currently attend. The School of Choice window is specifically for changes to existing School of Choice assignments or New/Returning Students requesting to leave their zoned campus for a School of Choice.

    Special Programs/Schools

    Judson ISD is proud to offer specialized, open-enrollment school models across the district.

    For students enrolled in or applying to special programs such as JECA, IB, TSTEM, JSTEM, PTECH, Dual Language, and Bilingual, student notifications will be provided in February and March.

    You will be able to add new siblings of currently enrolled students starting May 15 using your existing log-in information in the Family Portal.
