About Child Nutrition
Judson ISD Summer Meal Program Hosted At Seven Sites/USDA Extends Free School Meals Through 2021-2022 School Year
Child Nutrition is Here to Serve You
Judson ISD will continue to provide access to healthy, tasty meals for all students during the 2021-2022 school year.
Judson ISD will offer free summer meals during the summer of 2021. Judson ISD is proud to announce that it will provide no-cost summer meals at seven locations around its district footprint. These sites will provide curbside service breakfast and lunch meals Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10:45 am starting June 7th through July 30th (all sites closed week of July 4th). Curbside meals for breakfast and lunch will be bundled together during this distribution. This is a tasty and nutritious way of helping support our families during the summer.
This program will be hosted at the following locations:
Hartman ES, Miller’s Point ES, Rolling Meadows ES, Candlewood ES, Woodlake Hills MS, Wagner HS, and the Converse Public Library.
Students do not have to be present to pick up a meal, however if a parent or guardian picks up curbside meals for them, they must provide one of the following forms of identification.
- A student report card per child
- A student ID per child
- Attendance record from a parent portal on website
- Official letter from campus verifying child is enrolled
- Birth certificate per child
In addition, we also wanted to let you know that JISD will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year at all of our campuses. This is part of a continuing effort by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help families recovering from the pandemic.
Two great ways Judson ISD is supporting students and families…we hope you’ll join us.
We look forward to serving you. Questions? Please call 210-945-6720 for more information. Thank you!
