Mark Mallow is a San Antonio native and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Studies-Instrumental w/ an all-level teacher certification from Texas State University. Attending Judson High School where he served as Drum Major, Mark graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduating from Judson in 2014, he then went off to study music at Texas State University. There he studied music education with Dr. Mary Ellen Cavitt. Mr. Mallow's primary instrument is the saxophone and he attended Woodlake Hills from 2008-2010 and is now back serving as the Assistant Band Director.  Mr. Mallow is a member of the Council of Scholars, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Colligate Texas Music Educators. He is also a member of Texas Bandmasters Association and the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA). Mr. Mallow has led master classes, taught private lessons, and has judged various events around the state. Mr. Mallow student taught in Northeast ISD in San Antonio, Texas during the spring of 2018 at the elementary and secondary levels. In May, Mr. Mallow received the TMEA Collegiate Music Educator Award in May 2018.
