Mrs. Lopez

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Norma Lopez. This is my 4th year teaching 2nd grade. I also taught kindergarten for 1 year and was a paraprofessional as a migrant specialist for 2 years, apple unit assistant teacher for 1 year, and PPCD assistant teacher for 2 years working with special education children. I am very excited for the 2019-2020 school year! I am positive that this will be a great year filled with learning and fun. 2nd grade is such an important year in your child’s education and I look forward to partnering with you in making it a successful year.

I was born in Layden, Illinois and raised in Mission, Texas, home of Tom Laundry. In 2006 I moved to San Antonio with my family. My husband Robert is an electrician and I have one son, two daughters, one grandson, and another grandchild on the way.  My son Robby is attending the police academy and will graduate in December, Danielle is an esthetician, and my youngest works with children at a daycare.

I earned my Associates Degree from Northeast Lakeview College and Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University in 2011.

I look forward to many more years of teaching the brilliant students at Woodlake Elementary-Go Vikings.

I promise to do my very best to educate your child. Please know that I will always treat your child with respect and love and I am excited to have each and every one of your children in my classroom.
