Welcome! I currently teach dual credit English here at Wagner High School. We are partnered with St. Philip's College to give our students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. This allows students to get the most out of their academic high school experience and get ahead in their collegiate studies. I have been teaching English for seventeen years. I have taught many levels of high school English, but I have the most experience with Advanced Placement and Dual Credit English courses. I am from Texas, born and raised. I received my Bachelors in English with a secondary teaching certificate and my Masters in Literature from Texas State University. I have three daughters and two grandsons. I lead Education First Tours every summer to many European destinations. I enjoy helping my students achieve their academic goals and preparing them to be successful in college after high school.
